200A Meter Pole — Entergy Texas
- Post: Minimum 6” round or 6” × 6” square, pressure-treated for outdoor use.
- Meter conduit: 2”.
- Service conductors: 4/0 aluminum.
- Copper conductor: 2/0 copper.
- Grounding electrode conductor: #4 AWG for 200A.
- Ground rod: 5/8” × 8 ft, copper-clad.
- Weatherhead: Must provide a minimum of 3 ft of each conductor extending beyond the weatherhead.
- Meter socket: Approved for the service and suitable for an overhead service.
- Main breaker/disconnect: Weatherproof main disconnect/breaker must be installed.
- Conduit straps: Minimum of 2 straps securing the conduit to the pole.
- 911 address: Minimum 3” high, visible from the street and marked on the meter enclosure, pole, or a permanent material securely attached to the pole.
Meter working area: Must remain accessible for meter installation and maintenance, with a minimum 4’ × 4’ clear working area.
